Pop/Country Artist Relations

Amanda Dixon

Where Careers Are Guided, Not Just Managed.

Amanda is Sharp. Resourceful. And Fiercely Protective Of Your Talent.

There are people who fall into the music business, and then there are people who were always going to end up here. Amanda Dixon is the second kind.

Raised in the coastal quiet of La Jolla Farms, just outside San Diego, Amanda grew up with the kind of comfort that gives a person room to dream big — and the kind of drive that made sure she never coasted on it. Hers is a family that built its own success, and Amanda inherited more than the means to chase a career she loved; she inherited the instinct to work for it.

That instinct showed up early. Partway through her second year at MiraCosta College, a close friend’s music suddenly caught fire online — the kind of overnight virality that can just as easily swallow an artist as launch one. The friend needed someone they trusted completely to handle everything the spotlight doesn’t prepare you for: the social media, the finances, the deals, the chaos. Amanda stepped in without hesitation.

What followed was a crash course no classroom could have offered. Amanda guided her friend through the whirlwind that ended in a major-label record deal — and then through something far harder to navigate: the artist’s decision to step back from the industry’s glare altogether, prioritizing their mental health over the relentless demands of fame. It was a turning point that shaped Amanda’s entire philosophy of artist management. She walked away from that experience with a conviction that has defined her career ever since: an artist’s wellbeing and an artist’s success are never in competition — protect the person, and the star follows.

Not long after, a flyer passed along by a friend led Amanda to The Cash Family Music, which was searching for a new intern. She applied on a whim. The label saw something far beyond an entry-level candidate.

It didn’t take long for that instinct to be proven right. Amanda quickly distinguished herself — sharp, resourceful, and relentlessly artist-first — earning her way into the role of Department Manager for Pop/Country Artist Relations. Today, she works hand-in-hand with two of the label’s brightest rising names: country artist Kasey Daye and pop artist Cody Knight, guiding their careers with the same trust-first approach that shaped her own start in the industry.

Her first major undertaking at The Cash Family Music is already turning heads: spearheading the release strategy behind Cody Knight’s debut pop single, “Miss California,” and Kasey Daye’s country breakout, “Country Boy.” Two artists, two genres, one manager making sure both walk into stardom with everything they need already in place.

Smart, creative, and fiercely protective of the talent she represents, Amanda Dixon is quickly becoming known around The Cash Family Music as the person artists ask for by name — the manager who makes sure the music comes first, the person comes second to no one, and the superstar comes naturally.
